This study sought to understand the experiential meaning of a healing trip. Many prior studies have demonstrated the therapeutic effect of travel, but there is still only an abstract conceptual explanation of which travel can bring healing effects and specific healing effects. In this study, researchers participated in the small group domestic leisure travel products of U travel agency, which claims to be a healing trip, and interviewed based on field experiences to derive the meaning of healing travel by capturing the vivid experiences, perceptions, and voices of travelers. The findings were classified into two dimensions, 14 concepts, and six categories. The categories of healing travel at the level of "formal conditions" were leisurely trips, trips with different experience, a trip with good encounters, and an "experiential condition" category was a trip to find me, a trip to help me live my daily life, and a trip with emotion. Based on these results, it is possible to derive the meaning of healing trips that can be useful on site and propose directions for developing travel packages that meet the timely needs of travelers.
