Microbial CH<SUB>4</SUB> biotransformation has become sustainable technologies for producing useful chemicals such as methanol, succinate, and 2-3-butanediol. However, the insufficient supply of CH<SUB>4</SUB>, due to mass transfer limitation and low solubility, still needs to be overcome to produce value-added chemicals in CH<SUB>4</SUB> gas fermentation efficiently. Here, we successfully prepared cellulose nanocrystals coated with a tannic acid-Fe<sup>3+</sup> complex (TA-Fe<sup>3+</sup>CNCs) as a medium component to enhance gas-liquid mass-transfer performance.
