In this study, our group developed highly sensitive fluorescence sensor based on enzyme-ball functionalized gold nanoclusters (EB-Au NCs) for detection of hydrogen peroxide (H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB>). The H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB> can induce damage of cell ingredient, mutation and death of marine organism by leading to oxidation stress. The EB-Au NCs are consisted of protein stabilized gold nanoclusters such as bovine serum albumin stabilized gold nanoclusters (BSA-Au NCs) and horseradish peroxidase stabilized gold nanoclusters (HRP-Au NCs).
