Microalgae is a sort of algae that intake carbon dioxide from organic or inorganic carbon source and produce various useful substances. Especially, green microalgae strain have high conversion efficiency of carbon dioxide and they produce lipids by specific stresses since its metabolic behavior. In this study, three kinds of environmental adapted microalgae strains were cultivated by direct application of coal-fired flue gas that represented its high concentration of carbon dioxide. The cultivation sits is located in Taean branch of Korea Western Power Co., LTD.(Taean, Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea, 36.9038446,126.2324481).
