This study was conducted to examine the effect of different rooting media that include decomposed granites on rooting characteristics and growth of the strawberry cutting seedlings. The treatments were divided into 6 groups, each receiving types of rooting media [coir (CO), mixed coir with perlite (coir:perite = 8:2) (MX), perlite 2 ‒ 4 mm (PL), decomposed granite 1 ‒ 3 mm (GS), decomposed granite 3 ‒ 5 mm (GM), and decomposed granite 5 ‒ 9 mm (GL)]. The cuttings of strawberries were transplanted in small plastic tunnel on January 4, 2021. The humidification was supplied inside the tunnel in average relative humidity of 85 ± 5% for 14 days. After 14 days of cutting, 100% of rooting rate was confirmed in all treatments. However, GM and GL, which are large particle sizes decomposed granite media showed a low survival rate.
