Euphorbia maculata L. is a branch type weed commonly found alongside the roads and walkways. It inhabits in environment with extreme temperature fluctuation during a day, different from general environment of plants. The study was aimed to release the high temperature germinability of E. maculata seeds, which was previously proven of anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect, by temperature pretreatment and secure the seedlings. E. maculata seeds were collected in August 2020 in Haenggu-dong, Wonju-si, Gangwondo which were then cleaned and stored dry in 4°C after sealing and used in the experiment. Weight of one thousand seeds were 112.0 mg and had E:S ratio of 0.84. The viability was assumed by germination experiment due to the micro size of seeds. Two experiments of germination property were investigated in temperatures from 15 to 35°C and in 25/15°C either consecutive for 30 days or transition to 35°C after two weeks.
