Molecularly and ion imprinted polymers attract a lot of attention due to their easy preparation and high selectivity. To extract organic and inorganic materials simultaneously in aqueous phase, imprinted solid phase extraction (ISPE) was proposed using molecularly imprinted polymer mixed with ion imprinted polymer. In general, the analysis of organic and inorganic materials require different pre-treatment and analytical methods leading to a lot of labor, time and cost. Sometimes, one adsorbent is not able to achieve the reasonable removal of heterogeneous analytes such as organic and inorganic mixture.
