Introduction and Background
Cuff tear arthropathy is one of the important complications which may need re-operation of retear in patients with repaired rotator cuff tear. To analyze the amounts of cuff tear arthropathy, we compare pre & post shoulder 3D CT and measure bone change of humerus and glenoid of patients with repaired rotator cuff tear.
Material and Method
From January 2009 to January 2019, 67 patients who underwent rotator cuff repair were, reviewed. Patients who had 1) at least a 1 year follow up, 2) pre-operative shoulder CT, 3) shoulder CT at postoperative 1 year were included. Patients who had 1) osteoarthritis at initial operation, 2) previous surgery involving affected shoulder, 3) cuff tear arthropathy at initial operation were excluded. Radiological factors (the humerus osteophyte size, glenoid bone defect size, glenoid medialization, glenoid inclination, glenoid retroversion) were measured and analyzed with 3D program (3D slicer, SALT slicer).
