The Catholic Church in Korea has designated the martyrdom and birthplaces of the sacred martyrs, in order to inherit the spirituality of these martyrs. The aim of this research is to analyze the impact of spiritual well-being of the pilgrim to sacred places on quality of life. Data collection was conducted from July 17 to August 03, 2020 at Solmoe Shrine. A total number of 400 questionnaires were distributed and 318 were collected. In the following analysis, religious well-being and existential well-being had a significant effect on recovery experience and quality of life. Religious well-being had greater impact on recovery experience while existential well-being had greater impact on quality of life. In addition, the impact of spiritual well-being on quality of life and recovery experience partially mediated. These findings suggest that pilgrimage is crucial in improving spiritual well-being. The study should serve as a basis for the development and management for sacred sites.
