Purpose：This research study observes and analyzes Korean learners’ reader consideration strategies. Methods：Through analysing the learners’ argumentative texts, several characteristics have been noticed as follow. Results：Firstly, in hierarchical relationship with the readers, the writers tend to use both the first person singular ‘나’ and the first person plural ‘우리’ to expose the writers themselves. The writers attempt to express their sense of social solidarity by using ‘우리 (including the readers)’. whereas they choose ‘우리 (excluding the readers)’ to assure the writers’ credibility. In emphasizing profits and losses, secondly, the writers put their logical bases on the mutual interests of the writers and readers in case the readers are on the higher status. On the other hand, they tend to issue the cases of losses for the readers on the equal status. Additionally, the writers seem to be unfamiliar with the strategies of sharing and responding to information and experience. Conclusion：In writing education for Korean learners, it can help to prepare the teaching contents and methods of reader consideration strategies.
