An overview of the Qing dynasty-related editorials of “Jiji Shinpo” during the Fukuzawa Healthy Period (1882-1898) is as follows. (1) The Qing dynasty-related editorials in “Jiji Shinpo” during the Fukuzawa Healthy period are 863 editions and 998 days. This corresponds to approximately 18.7% of all 5338　editorials during the same period. (2) No editorial was found that clearly showed Japan’s intention to acquire a colony, regardless of whether it was recorded in the complete works or not. (3) The overall tone should be dealt with flexibly according to the situation at that time, rather than a hard-line argument against the Qing dynasty, and if you dare to say it, responding according to the situation. (4) Regarding the Qing dynasty, if there is no intervention in Korea or Japan, the basic position is to stand by the advance of Western countries into the Qing dynasty, and I can’t find editorials which　 Japan should make some military efforts to the Qing dynasty. (5) There are no editorials claiming to strengthen the armament in the six years from the end of the post-processing of the Nagasaki Qing sailor turmoil to the heightened tensions on the Sino-Japanese War, and the core of the tone is the promotion of trade. (6) If you read the editorials not included in the complete works, Fukuzawa wanted a Qing dynasty as an independent nation with the same values ??as Japan, which also accepted Western spiritual civilization.
