This paper illustrates the argument that the immortal implications in Wordsworth's “Ode” range from changes in perception by senses, especially cognitive abilities obtained through sound of sight and hearing to the state of self-awareness. Wordsworth says we were born, forgetting the memories of our heavenly light. So human’s physical growth is to blur the heavenly light through the senses, but paradoxically, the perception through the senses becomes a window to see the new world. Therefore, humans have the power to go beyond mortality by thoughts of sympathy for humans. So the sympathy for humans remains an immortality for humans and nature.
