Platycodon grandiflorum, belongs to the Campanulaceae family, has been widely used as a traditional herb-medicine which reported biological properties such as anti-inflammation, anti-tumor, hepa-protection, anti-obesity effects. In this study, identification of 39 oleanane type saponins were performed from the roots of P. grandiflorum by comparing fragment ions of MS using UPLC-QToF/MS with constructed saponin library of P. grandiflorum.
