In this study, we prepared two enzymatic extracts by using trypsin and pepsin from Hermetia Illucens (THI and PHI), and evaluated their effects on photodamages in ultraviolet B (UVB)-irradiated human keratinocytes. The result showed PHI led to the higher extraction yield than THI, whereas the protein content of PHI was lower.
