Studies on the impact of Fine dust (FD) on the skin as a causal factor of chronic skin disorders including skin barrier abnormalities, pruritus, and immunological dysregulations have recently received an increased interest. Effects of FD collected from Beijing, China on HaCaT keratinocytes were herein investigated. Based on dose and time response analysis, FD treatment-induced intracellular ROS generation and caused cell damage. Intracellular ROS were evaluated by fluorescence microscopic and FACS analysis.
