The main purpose of blue tourism is to build an environment that is sustainable and self-sustaining, centered on fishing villages. It means that marine leisure tourism takes place centered on fishing villages such as marine leisure, national recreation, fisheries specialization, and regeneration infrastructure. Blue tourism in Chungnam-do will develop the characteristics (contents) unique to the village based on the marine leisure tourism resources in the fishing village and fishing port and its neighboring regions, and the unique life of the fishing village will be the biggest advantage. Fishing villages and fishing ports have the culture and history of the region. It is very important to secure the uniqueness of the region that reflects the culture, art, and history of the region. This is because it is possible to develop contents based on this. Respecting the marine ecological environment of Chungnam Province, being friendly, respecting culture and history, securing public and economic feasibility as a basic goal, enjoying four seasons and various marine leisure sports in Chungnam Province, and diversifying the types of them to expand the number of tourists visiting 4 It should be aimed at seasonal marine leisure tourism, and the value of the fishing village in Chungnam-do should be increased by developing a distinctive village by improving the quality of life and income of the fishing village residents.
