[Purpose] The purpose of this study was to explore the perception of the professional knowledge of golf instructor. This study will provide it as basic data necessary for the improvement of professionalism of golf instructor and training course. [Method] This study used qualitative research method. Participants selected 5 professors to teach golf players. Data were collected through in-depth interviews from September to December 2017. Data analysis used inductive category analysis and subject analysis method to analyze the raw data [Result] The golf instructor's professional knowledge was divided into several professional knowledge. First, golf content knowledge included theoretical and practical knowledge, second, golf teaching knowledge has golf training method and golfer management knowledge, third, golf purpose knowledge has teaching goal, and career enhancement knowledge, fourth, golf environment knowledge has golfer’s situation and their environmental knowledge, last, golf pedagogical content knowledge has time and place knowledge. [Conclusion] This study searched the professional knowledge of golf instructor. It came to systematically classified professional knowledge. It is necessary to establish the professional knowledge system necessary for the improvement of the professionalism of the golf instructor.
