The study performed to establish what are the factors that affect happiness of person and analyzed on the influential relation between community factors and happiness. For those purposes, the study employed a method of the case study including qualitative analysis of the community business in Chungcheongnam-do. The study divided the community factors that affect happiness into community property, community capacity, and community asset. The study analyzed concretely how the three factors of community affects happiness and individual factors like income. The case studies for the study was conducted on six organizations of the community business were categorized into the public cooperation type and the private-centric type. The main analysis results were as follows. First, the inordinate pursuit of profit and income can diminish happiness of person in the community based life. For the happiness of person and evolution of communities, public policy directions centered on the pursuit of community values are require rather than income generation. Second, the sense of community was the best important factor to happiness of the members that work on the community business. Thus it is required that understanding common need of the members in community. For the understanding, it is required to make opportunities of mutual exchanges and various gathering. Third, it is needed to policy design matching features of the community like public cooperation and the private-centric type. Finally, it is needed to excavate the models of types of the community business to make the best use of the various community assets because recognition of the community assets is important factor for durability of the community business.
