The exponential B-spline functions are used to form an approximate solutions for numerical methods. The collocation method with the approximate solution of the exponential B-spline is build up to
nd the numerical solutions of the Equal Width Equation(EWE). The contribution on the experimental accuracy of the collocation method in solving the nonlinear equation are searched experimentially. The comparison of the results of the suggested method is done with ones obtained with variants of B-spline
nite element methods.
