The research presents the four methods for comparing the differences or equivalences of two populations such as Effect Size(ES), Statistical Difference(SD), Statistical Difference for (SD) and Practical Equivalence(PE).
these methods are evaluated as three categories (i.e. accuracy influenced by effect size, precision influenced by standard deviation and sample size, sampling error influenced by significance level and confidence level) in terms of Hypothesis Testing(HT) and Confidence Interval(CI).
The implementation strategies are illustrated to use in the DMAIC improvement processes of six sigma.
The four methods developed in this paper can be effectively used to complement their strengths and weakness.
