The tremendous success story about Pixar studio over Walt Disney Studios' legend did not happen in one night. The evolution of computer graphics technology began in the 1970s. The talented computer scientists in the laboratories of colleges and industry have created successfully innovated hardware and software for the new form of animation. At the same time, the various animation or fine artists and technicians have applied new technology on their art works to expand and advance the skill of making computer generated animation. The experiment and investment to commercializing and industrializing 3D computer animation have taken about 25 years. After Steve jobs co-founder and chairman of Apple Computer purchased the computer division of Lucas and incorporated it as an independent company, He had annually invested million dollars for about 9 years without any profits. Through making the 3D short animation, Pixar could have capability to lead the computer animation industry both technically and aesthetically. The reason of the success of Pixar's animation is not about technology but a solid story with memorable characters. Korean animation productions tried a couple of commercial animation to hit the big time, they all did not succeed. They should invest technically and aesthetically to build a better environment of the animation industry as well as Pixar have done for the future of animation industry in Korea,
