This study examined the various cultural facilities such as local culture & art center, culture center of a department store and community facilities in apartment complex. We found that there were gaps between the quantity of culture & art center and the rate of utilization and also between the user's satisfaction according to various curriculum and expensive charge for lecture in culture center of a department store. Therefore we took notice of community facilities in apartment complex and assumed to act all in a the day's work for cultural activities and use of spare time in apartment complex in company with typical cultural facilities of public and civil parts. Because cultural facilities must be close to housing so as to have plenty of time and distance. Therefore, this study aims to find out that community facilities have the function and possibility as cultural space or facility to be close with housing through the research and analysis according to the user's satisfaction and needs on community facilities for support of cultural want and effective use of spare time
