This study is carried out to improve the small water supply facilities in Gyeongsangbuk-Do province. This study investigated the current status regarding small water supply system in Gyeongsangbuk-Do to find effective way to solve the problems; poor water quality, operation by non-expert , poor fund support, poor facilities condition and the problems of non-effective maintenance skill. Consequently, in order to supply high quality water to the people in service area of the small water supply facility; first, there are necessary to convert the small water supply facilities into the local water supply, second, the small water supply facilities are necessary not to improve partial facilities but to improve the whole facilities, third, experts of water supply facilities are positively necessary.
