This study is to develop the CSAI-2 and SSCQ norms for amateur golfers on sex, age, golf score. A total of 475 subjects are involved in this study: 334 males and 141 females, 237 20-30 ages and 238 40-50 ages, 154 90 under score, 174 90-100 score, 147 100 over score. The questionnaire used for the study is CSAI-2 developed by Martens et al(1990) and SSCQ developed by Vealey et al(1998). The results are summarized as follows: 1) The mean scores for cognitive anxiety, somatic anxiety, and state confidence are 25.83, 23.70, 29.74 on males and 26.69, 24.50, 27.65 on females. The level of anxiety on males is lower than females and the level of state confidence on males is higher than females. 2) Norms for each of the three subscales of the CSAI-2 and six subscales of the SSCQ are provided for male and female, 20-30 ages and 40-50 ages, the three levels of golf score. The anxiety(cog and som) of male golfers is lower than female golfers and the state confidence of males is higher than females on sex. According to golfer's age, the anxiety(cog and som) of 40-50 age golfers is higher than 20-30 age golfers and the state confidence is lower. The anxiety(cog and som) of 90 under score golfers is lower than 91-100 score golfers and 100 over score golfers. However, the anxiety(cog and som) of 91-100 score golfers is higher than 100 over score golfers. The state confidence of 90 under score golfers is higher than the other groups. There is no significant difference male and female golfers on the confidence norms. According to golfer's age, the confidence of 20-30 age golfers is higher than 40-50 age golfers. The confidence of 90 under score golfers is higher than the other 2 groups.
