The purpose of this study was to investigate the middle school physical education teacher's workplace conditions in Korea. The subjects for this study were 13 middle school physical education teachers who considered to be effective teachers in Kyounggi Province in Korea. Personal interview were conducted at the secluded place from the public area for the convenience of the interview. All four categories were selected and some sub categories were developed by the investigators. The results of the study shows that physical education teachers were viewed negatively by the students, parents and even colleagues. Their status also was not as high as they expected. In spite of several negative perception on themselves, most physical education teachers try to do their job as teachers and looking for the better physical education in the near future.
