The purpose of this study was to investigate relationships between the participation Class participation motivation of university student majoring modern dance and flow experience. The subjects were composed of 102 university majoring modern dance participated in through stratified cluster random sampling method. Each subjects completed the Flow Experience Questionnaire and Participation Motivation Questionnaire. The selected data were analyzed by SPSS 12.0 Package and AMOS 5.0. The results were as followings. Firstly, university student majoring modern dance had the highest level in learning motivation but had the lowest in the enjoyment motivation. Secondly, catharsis motivation, enjoyment motivation factors positively related to flow experience. Limitations of this study and future implications were discussed.
