The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of caffeine intakes during aerobic exercise by comparing the concentration of lipase and insulin in blood by analyzing blood before exercise, after exercise, and 30 minutes after exercise, for each case of whether caffeine has medicated or not. 9 male physical education. students of Incheon I University has participated as a subjects of this research. The subjects exercised on the treadmill at the VO2 max of 60% and the VO2 max was calculated by the GXT which the subjects had been participated in and also, respiration exchange rate was based on the VO2 and VCO2 . Analyzing the concentration of lipase and insulin in 10㎖ blood that has sampled before medication, before exercise, right after exercise, and 30 minutes after exercise, we have approached to the following conclusions. 1) The concentration of lipase has not shown any significant difference in every cases. 2) The concentration of insulin has decreased before medication, before exercise, right after exercise, but has increased a little after exercise but not to as much as concentration before medication when caffeine is medicated. The concentration of insulin has increased before exercise in higher rate than before medication, but has shown rapid decrease right after exercise, than showed same concentration with before medication after exercise. After all in this case, it is meaningless between giving caffeine group and placebo group in temporary aerobic exercise differently preceding study. Recently the athlete selection problem about drugs doping is raised again. Study is needed about not only caffeine ingredient but also positive effect about ergogenic alternation drugs.
