Firstly, former times, defensiveness of the location, the geographic reason and contact are mainly considered for the storage site. But there are some differences in times and goods. In defensiveness, it is for the war supply, so it was located in the safe place for enemy attack. The storages of an weapon and gunpowder around the government offices are also considered not only fire, robbery but with contact and maintenance. Panbyuk is made of girders with wooden panels is a kind of Shimbyuk which is not endure the weight and pillar exposed. Those kinds of Shimbyuk are easily shown in elevations of the Korean traditional architecture. But these structures are very weak with fire, raindrops, moist or something becaused they're made of wood and soil with clay, so they got to maintain with lot works. If the soil is dried, Inbang and Shimbyuk had a leak so it has a defect for heating. To solve this problem, they often used Pyungbyuk which is contains pillars inner parts of the wall with Sago-stone. So they can seal the inside from raindrops or fire also gets a heating efficiency. Those kinds of methods were regarded to be used in the governments, Royal tomb, confidential Royal history storages or weapons and gunpowder. Later, they used bricks for the Bunsachang which is also consisting of wooden structure to prevent from fire. It was storage with factory for weapon. They used stones with Hongye structure to keep the ice until summertime. This structure method was often used to create stone grave. At first, they made main space with stone and added soil with depth to its outbound to preserve ice for long times. To make conclusion, the storage architecture is not so aesthetic like other kind of building. But functionally, storage architecture has another value that it reflects the changes and airs of that times of society and economic. Storage was founded by the needs, so we can not make conversation of its architectural values. Even though it is annex for main buildings, it has clear function with formative characteristics for storing. With this, I could inspect the considerations of that times when it was built in the aspects of structure, material, space arrangement or something. If to add something, lot of change and vanishing of that architecture, it could be meaningful to classify and research the old data as a purpose of this thesis.
