An art museum is a measure of cultural life, in many countries and the display is the action for producing a new value.
This study is investigated 10 art museums which are famous by good display examples, in spite of the contemporary art is a lot of changes in many kinds.
First of all, I found out the method of display by an artwork's character.
Also, I defined and divided the Physical Environment Factor of a unit exhibition space in the art museum -an aspect of display basis, exhibition space, display presentation, display decoration - according to reference books.
Next, I analyzed the Physical Environment Factor in those 10 art museums. Those are the form of plan, main entrance, ceiling, lighting, composition of exhibition space, connection, display background, ray-out, and display method.
I will verify the best condition in each exhibition space by good ray-out and presentation for visitors.
