A transparent photovoltaic cell (TPV) generates electricity by absorbing light while ensuring visibility like transparent glass. Therefore, TPV can be used as a transparent power generator on a transparent surface such as a building or automobile glass, so electricity can be produced without extra installation space or large cost. This invisible electricity generator can replace opaque solar cells in urban with many buildings because they need high installation space cost in urban areas where electricity consumption is high. Light management, which generates electricity by absorbing as much light as possible while maintaining high transparency, is of utmost importance in TPV devices.
