Dopamine(DA) is a neurotransmitter secreted by the brain which plays a major role in maintaining the functional activities of many organs such as heart, brain, and kidney. An abnormal levels of dopamine are produced Alzheimer"s disease, depression, Parkinson"s disease and schizophrenia. Thus, the rapid and sensitive detection of dopamine is received great attention in a clinical field. To date, many instruments such as GC-MS, ICPOES, HPLC have been used for the detection of dopamine. However, these methods are costly and time consuming process.
