A polymorphic word is generally the opposite of a single word, and refers to a case in which two or more meanings are implied in a single word and is also used as such. It can be said that polymorphic language is one of the concrete actions of language that directly confirms Wittgenstein’s proposition that the meaning of language is the context.
The purpose of this thesis is to comprehensively examine polymorphic languages based on the macroscopic view of the ‘language game’, which is a language that is defined based on situations and contexts. Specifically, the concept of multiple words and their occurrence factors, the cohesion between multiple words and contexts, the relationship between the meanings of multiple words, and language games using multiple languages are considered. This review is also a work to prepare the basis for useful learning materials that can increase the efficiency of learning Russian vocabulary and teaching materials that can be used in the field of Russian language education. There are many multilingual words in Russian. It is an important process to clearly identify and present the extension from the basic meaning of polymorphism to the derived meaning in Russian language education.
