Unlike in the past, the demand for SUVs has increased explosively, and there are many 4WD drive parts for SUVs in order to transmit the optimum driving force according to the road surface and driving conditions and to minimize the NVH generated from the outside. Electronic couplings(E-coupling) can transmit the optimum driving force to their four wheels depending on the various situations. Multi-plate clutch system in E-coupling is very important role to transmit power by frictional forces between Multi-plates. Due to frictional forces, heat is generated between multi-plates and oil is important role to cool the heat of multi-plates. In order to improve the performance of the multi-plate clutch of the coupling, the shape is designed so that the oil inside the coupling is churned by the rotation of the shaft and then efficiently flows into the clutch for lubrication of multi-plates. In this paper, meshfree method of Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) is used and verify the oil churning phenomenon. In order to evaluate the lubrication performance of the electronic coupling, three influencing factors were selected, and the amount of oil flowing into the multi-plate clutch and the value of the drag torque were compared according to the level of each factor. As a result, the internal shape of the clutch was designed to reflect effective arguments that can improve the performance of the multi-plate clutch
