This paper aims to examine the relationship between graphic elements and urban environment through a critical visual approach to the image concept of urban images. Through this, we investigated how multisensory images are constructed by accessing the image of the city in various academic contexts and finding various different meanings and images of the city. In addition, I would like to introduce and explain urban graphic elements as a widespread epistemological phenomenon, revealing how various ranges of objects cited in the literature have visual cohesion and lack functional consciousness. Understanding urban graphic elements allows you to find readability and unintended graphic characteristics, which expand into established ideas that consider the functions of graphic communication within the city"s functions and view the entire city. Therefore, this paper introduces a framework for considering graphic design as urban design and graphic objects as urban objects.
