Aristotle"s natural philosophical explanations of physical phenomena had dominated European academia for two thousand years. The Dark Ages, which had been unable to escape the influence of Aristotle for a long time, were struck by Galileo"s experimental spirit and Newton"s rational spirit, which questioned ambiguous explanations that were not specifically perceived. As a result, classical physics was established and the modern era of remarkable scientific development was opened. However, there are still cases in which it is difficult to say that textbook explanations of physical phenomena are completely out of ambiguity. Four cases are selected as explanations that cannot be specifically understood and transmitted only by superficial memorization, and a new explanation is attempted based on the Galileo-type thinking experiment.
