Currently, many domestic and overseas companies launch various moisturizers for atopic dermatitis. The purpose is to understand the improvement points of atopic moisturizers according to the severity of atopic dermatitis and satisfaction with the improvement effect of the atopic moisturizer, and to prepare basic data for the development of the atopic moisturizer market by improving the quality of the atopic moisturizer as the atopic dermatitis market expands. Based on the situation, the data for this study were collected from the mothers of preschoolers (under the age of 7) and children (the ages of 8 to 13) with atopic dermatitis. This study intends to study the use and satisfaction of atopic moisturizers, focusing on infants and children, who can be greatly affected by atopic dermatitis. The data were analyzed by focusing on the demographic characteristics, the severity of atopic dermatitis in the children, and the satisfaction level related to the effectiveness of the moisturizers for atopic dermatitis. As a result of this study, the more severe atopic dermatitis was perceived, the higher the frequency of use and purchasing power of the atopic moisturizer. Although there are few companies that develop raw materials for atopic cosmetic products in Korea, many research institutes and companies are developing raw materials that are effective in strengthening skin function, maintaining homeostasis and moisturizing power, improving itching, as well as treating atopic dermatitis. If the improvement effect of the atopic moisturizer is proven through clinical research, the atopic moisturizer market is expected to grow further.
