This study analyzed an effect of the flipped learning teaching/learning method applied to the ‘medical skincare’ course offered by H University. It divided the subjects into two groups and applied the instructor-centered lecture class and the flipped-learning teaching/learning method to each one, respectively. It examined 13 students who participated in the former(the control group) and 19 who participated in the latter (the experiment group). It analyzed the data collected by using SPSS v. 25.0. Specifically, it calculated Cronbach"s α, to verify the reliability of the measurement tool, and conducted an independent samples t-test, to examine whether there are differences in teaching presence, perceived interaction and class satisfaction between two groups. The findings are as follows: it examined the differences in the teaching presence, perceived interaction and class satisfaction between the experiment group to which the flipped-learning teaching/learning method was applied and the control group to which the instructor-centered lecture class was applied. Then, the results showed that they and their sub-factors were higher in the former. Based on the findings above, it can be found that the class to which the flipped-learning is applied has an entirely positive effect on students, and therefore, the flipped-learning can be considered as the teaching/learning method useful for fostering skin-care experts. This study, which attempted to apply the flipped-learning-based class model to the medical skin-care subject, has an implication, in that it suggests the potential of he flipped-learning-based class for the major field of skin-care.
