In order to discuss Yun Dong-ju"s poetry, above all, a process of examining the changes in homeland consciousness is necessary. Yoon Dong-ju"s homeland consciousness shows a unique trend while he was born in Manchuria and studied in Pyongyang and Gyeongseong, Joseon, followed by Tokyo and Kyoto, Japan.
First of all, even though he was born in Manchuria and raised there, it should be seen that confusion about his hometown has been in place since the beginning of his first product in Yun Dong-ju"s era. He had a sense of hometown experience for Joseon before his grandparents moved to Bukgado Island at the same time as his hometown of Bukgando, where he was born and raised. As a result, in Yun Dong-ju"s poem, his hometown is depicted in a mixed pattern that was both Bukgando and Joseon.
In Yun Dong-ju City, it is established as a dual hometown consciousness, the hometown of Bukgando Island and the hometown of Koreans. Yoon Dong-ju is the third generation of immigrants, and he himself was born and raised in Bukgando, that is, Manchukuo as a regional attribute of the time, and he inherits his parents" longing for his hometown.
Yun Dong-ju"s double mixed sense of hometown is realized as his own country corresponding to other countries while studying in Japan. Unlike the period when Yun Dong-ju"s hometown consciousness was dualized into North Gando and Joseon, this hometown when he studied in Japan took on the meaning of his country corresponding to other countries.
As a result, Yoon Dong-ju"s sense of hometown moves toward awareness of the times and recognition of determination after a long sedimentation. In Diaspora"s life, Nostelzier is a natural emotion, but conversely, Nostelzier does not all present Diaspora"s life. Perfume as a place where you can go back at any time is fundamentally different from the diaspora experience after essentially recognizing the rooted self.
