Sarcopenia, can be a factor in chronic diseases for the elderly due to decreased activity and decreased metabolism due to weakened muscle strength. Therefore, the elderly and the middle-aged, whose muscle mass decreases rapidly, should also prevent sarcopenia in advance. In this study, we propose a "muscle saving account" which was distributed as a printed matter at the S City Health and Life
Support Center to help improve and maintain muscle strength for the elderly as an application that can enhance user convenience. Prior to the application production, the experience and needs of users were identified through a user awareness and preference survey conducted on 50 people under the age of 55 to 70. Interviews were conducted with five researchers and five experts to advance usability assessments on prototypes. Based on the usability Testing results, the final design was presented by modifying the character size, icon style, layout, etc. This study is significant because it proposed the "muscle saving account" that was used by the Center for Health and so on. As an interest in preventing Sarcopenia, I hope it can be used as a reference for related research.
