Today, non-face-to-face is becoming a daily routine, and interest in digital clothing worn on avatars online is increasing. In addition, the women's sportswear industry is sharply growing as the importance of health and women's participation in male-oriented sports increase. 3D CLO enables digital clothing production, reducing the fabric generated from sample production, which helps to protect the environment. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to propose the design of virtual fitness wear to prevent injury to women participating in muscle training through virtual fashion. As a research method, a literature study on 3D CLO, a program necessary for production of works, was conducted through the CLO official site, and by focusing on women's fitness wear among sportswear through previous studies, its characteristics were identified. In addition, the part where the incision should be made, in the process of identifying the shape and principles of the small tools currently in use and combining them with the costume according to the principle, was selected. As a result of the study, two designs on top and two on bottom were created to propose a virtual fitness wear design. The use of the 3D CLO emulator mode in manufacturing made it possible to produce the physical properties of the fabric, so it was convenient to know in advance the changes in the shape and silhouette of the clothes that change as they move through avatar simulation. The pattern can be modified through the 2D window showing the pattern and CLO 3D window showing the avatar, so that the production time can be shortened by simultaneously manufacturing and modifying, which was also effective in identifying the location of the incision line that embodied the muscles. It is regrettable that this study was not real clothing making but a virtual fashion design proposal study, and the effect of actual wear could not be known. However, through this study, it is hoped that fitness wear will be combined with the digital clothing industry to propose more diverse designs and further help develop injury-prevention clothing.
