The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of job stress and self-efficacy on job satisfaction of after-school instructor in elementary school. The research questions to achieve the purpose of the study are as follows. First, is there any difference in job stress, self-efficacy, and job satisfaction by individual characteristics of the elementary after-school instructor? Second, is there any relationship between job stress, self-efficacy, and job satisfaction of elementary school after-school instructor? Third, do the job stress and self-efficacy of elementary school after-school instructor affect job satisfaction? Descriptive statistical analysis, mean difference test, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were used with data collected from 274 Busan elementary school after-school instructors. The main research results are as follows. First, in the differences in job stress, self-efficacy, and job satisfaction by individual characteristics, job stress was higher in female than male, and subject instructor was higher than non-subject instructor, and self-efficacy and job satisfaction were higher in instructor with more than 5 years of experience. Second, in the correlation between variables, job satisfaction had a negative correlation with job stress and positive correlation with self-efficacy. And, job stress had a negative correlation with self-efficacy. Third, job stress had a negative influence on job satisfaction, and self-efficacy had a positive influence on job satisfaction. The main research results were discussed, and the research provides some suggestions that in order to increase the job satisfaction of after-school instructor in elementary school, it is important to develop the professionalism and competency of the instructor and needs a support system such as providing various training programs and active interest and strategies.
