This study is to investigate the perception, understanding, and misunderstanding of gender conflict between men and women by paying attention to the phenomenon of gender conflict amplified during the 20th presidential election process. Through this, it aims to correctly understand the current phenomenon of gender conflict in our society and contribute to preparing reasonable countermeasures in terms of communication. To this end, this study conducted a coorientation analysis on a total of 11 items, including 9 gender conflict issues and 2 political-related issues. As a result of analyzing a total of 325 people, including 163 young men and 162 women, most of the two groups showed differences in perception in agreement, and most of the men and women differed in their own perception and the other's perception in subjective agreement. In terms of accuracy, it can be seen that both men and women differ in their perceptions and the other party's estimation of their perceptions. In the end, it can be seen that men and women in their 20s have widespread differences in perceptions, misunderstandings, and distrust of the other party in gender conflict.
