As society has become more sophisticated today, information is becoming more important in many areas, including education. Against this backdrop, the need for information education is drawing attention. Therefore, in the revised curriculum of Korea 2015, information education has been reorganized into basic education contents, essential subjects, and elective subjects, and many opportunities have increased. In the revised 2022 curriculum, digital education will be reflected as a learning foundation and the number of hours of information education will be expanded further. In order to revitalize information education, this paper conducted a survey of teachers. The survey was conducted by dividing teachers into gender, educational background, school level, and region. As a result, it was confirmed that the current information education time is not appropriate, and that there are many things to revise the level of information education and teaching materials. Through this, six suggestions were made: securing hours for information education, disseminating quality curricula and software, online and offline training, teaching materials that can elicit students' interest and understanding, lectures on information education at universities, and improvement of practical tools.
