This paper, combined with the author's body language teaching practice and guidance activities of Chinese speech and the performance of the sketch, discusses the principles of body language teaching and specific training methods, and draws the following conclusions. a. Cultivating students' understanding and application ability of Chinese body language is an important part of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, so Chinese teachers should pay full attention to it. b. Body language mainly consists of the expression language, action language and posture language composition, and in practical applications, the three often used in conjunction. c. Ability of expression in body language can also be improved through systematic training. In the body language teaching teachers must adhere to the three principles of less talk and more practice, timely evaluation and strive to diversify of training methods, and master two kinds of the most basic training methods of the body language comprehension training and language and action coordination training. d. For students of professional students, students who will take part in Chinese-speaking competitions, students who will practice sketch, teachers should strengthen their focused training of the body language separately for best practical results.
