As the number of document files increases exponentially due to the digitization of work, the target to be analyzed during a digital forensic investigation is rapidly increasing. In this situation, investigators should be able to quickly select digital evidence related to events for selective seizure with limited resources and time. In general, Selection for document files was done by directly searching for specific keywords or by identifying documents related to events through text similarity measurements using natural language processing techniques. In this way, many of the same keywords can be used to identify document files with similar contents. But although the contents of the document are different, there is a limitation in that it cannot be identified if the appearance of the document is similar due to similar visual functions. In this paper, we propose a method for classifying documents that reflected the visual features of a group by document writing group. An experiment was conducted on Hangul(HWP) documents published on the website of a total of seven public institutions, and it was shown that the document writing group could be classified with more than 95% accuracy. If the method proposed in this paper is used in conjunction with a selection based on text similarity, it will be possible to identify case-related document files effectively.
