This paper proposes an effective method for reading and writing in Chinese Classes. It is considered that reading and writing are difficult skills to a lot of students in Chinse Classes. In this paper, I would like to propose an effective teaching method to improve writing skill tied up with reading. The writing activities including reading were made up of three steps as follows; Planning, Drafting and Rewriting. In the planning part, students practiced either(both) writing summary or(and) making short sentences after reading the text. Through these activities, students could be lessened a burden for writing chinese article and they would have confidence in writing. In the rewriting part, evaluative reading was thought to be the most important activity. At this stage, students would complete their essay through writing-reading-rewriting flow. In addition, students got a feedback from teachers to correct inappropriate words, sentences, structures and etc. With a series of learning scheme, students could effectively acquire vocabularies, grammar and patterns of sentence in Chinese.
