본 연구는 안마원에 근무하는 95명의 시각장애인 안마사를 대상으로 근무여건과 직무만족에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석함으로써 안마사의 직업생활의 질을 향상시키는 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 근무여건인 운영주체, 고용형태, 월 평균급여, 급여체계, 근무시간, 근무일수, 정기휴일, 월차 및 연가, 휴식공간, 출퇴근 방법을 독립 변인으로 설정하였고, 직무만족도 조사도구는 JDI(Job Descriptive Index, 2009)를 사용하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 안마원 운영주체, 월 평균급여, 급여체계, 근무일수, 정기휴일, 월차 또는 연가, 출퇴근 방법에 따라 직무만족에 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 월 평균급여, 근무일수, 근무시간, 출퇴근 방법이 직무만족도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 변수로 확인되었다. 따라서 시각장애인 안마사의 직무만족을 높이기 위해서는 급여 향상 대책을 마련하고, 주 5일 근무, 주당 40시간 근무 체계를 구축할 수 있는 방안이 강구되어야 하며. 나아가 안마업이 시각장애인을 위한 법적 유보직종으로서 기능할 수 있도록 정부의 실질적 지원이 요구된다.
The purpose of this study was to seek a plan of improving quality of occupational life in masseurs with visual impairment by examining work conditions of visually-impaired masseurs who work at massage parlors and by analyzing factors of having influence upon job satisfaction. The independent variables were set for the operating entity, employment type, averagely monthly pay, wage system, working hours, working-day number, regular holiday, monthly paid holiday & annually paid holiday, break space, and commuting method as the work conditions. A survey tool of job satisfaction was used what reconstructed the revised edition 2009 of JDI(Job Descriptive Index), in line with the objective of this study. Research subjects were masseurs who work at massage parlors in Seoul·Gyeonggi area. Frequency analysis, t-test, ANOVA, and Regression analysis were carried out depending on research problem. These findings are summarized as follows. First, as a result of examining difference in job satisfaction according to work conditions of visually impaired masseurs, job satisfaction was indicated to have significant difference in the operating entity, averagely monthly pay, wage system, working-day number, regular holiday, monthly paid holiday or annually paid holiday, and commuting method. Second, as a result of carrying out regression analysis in order to examine factors of having influence upon job satisfaction in visually impaired masseurs, the averagely monthly pay, working-day number, and working hours were confirmed to be variables of having significant influence. To increase job satisfaction in visually impaired masseurs based on the results of this study, a plan can be suggested that arranges a measure for enhancing wage, implements working-day number with a 5-day work week system, and can allot weekly working hours with averagely 40 hours.
