The purpose of this study is to investigate the attitude on scalp-hair care along with women’s appearance concern and to analyze the relation after tracing their actual behavior. as more and more women are entering the workforce, they have grown very attentive to their appearance. Regardless of age, they make an effort to spend time and money generously on their make-up, apparel, plastic surgery, scalp-hair care and so on. Among these, scalp-hair care means the behaviors to care hair and scalp condition to be shown as they expect in front of others. For the research, a questionnaire survey of women from above twenties to below fifties had been conducted. The data analysis for this research has been carried out using statistics program SPSS WIN 18.0 to show frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA, chi-square test, and Duncan-test. The result of this research describes followings. Appearance concern influence scalp-hair care attitude and behavior. By being fully aware of proper scalp-hair care and practicing, healthy and beautiful hairs can be expected to obtain.
