The aim of this paper is to analyze the relationship among empirical factors of local festivals, tourist destination images, tourist satisfaction and festival loyalty, focusing on Chinese tourists visiting Korea. For this study, a questionnaire survey was implemented with 200 Chinese tourists who were visiting Korea to participate in the Cultural Tourism Festival on the IncheonㆍChina Day, securing 165 valid samples out of 200 questionnaires. According to the result of this research, it was possible to categorize the factors as follows. The four factors were derived from the local festival experience, such as fellowship, characteristics of entertainment, location and deviation from routine. The tourist destination images include two factors, such as humanㆍmaterial usefulness and attractiveness. And the tourist satisfaction and festival loyalty included one factor respectively. And the study hypothesis 1 was partially adopted, but study hypothesis 2 and 3 were fully adopted. Based on the analysis results, this study has presented the fundamental strategies to let the local festival grow to become an international festival and be activated.
