Report Errors
The range and energy consumption efficiency of electric vehicles are affected by various factors, including ambient temperature, driver behaviors, and thermal management system. Two routes that reflect the characteristics of the Korean metropolitan area were tested in this study, which was intended to analyze the factors that influence range and energy consumption efficiency through driving data. This analysis shows that the energy consumption of electric vehicles increases when driving on urban areas than in motorways, and range varies according to the driving route and road condition. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to confirm that the real-world driving test is meaningful in analyzing the range and energy consumption efficiency of electric vehicles, and further real-world driving tests are necessary.
